‘Dahi Handi’ The Traditional Festival-A unique tradition to be watched is the ‘Dahi Handi’ festival where people build up a human pyramid to reach the top where the handi (earthen pot) is being hung and ultimately break it. It is believed that Lord Krishna and his friends would make a human pyramid to steal curd and butter. The participants in this festival are called Govinda; however, this is more popular in Maharashtra.
